After reading the first one in the series Trigon Rituals I was afraid to continue the series. I was pleasantly suprised. There is a vast improvement in Deep Pressure. The author is actually starting to get orginal not not use wordings and situations that have been done to death. She still did it, but not as much. There are some really funny bits in this book that had me chuckling. One was where Lemac and Dgor 'flaunted' for Karen using frying pans instead of swords I thought was really funny. The characters of Lemac and Dgor could have used a little more personalizing. It got kind of annoying that they seemed to have sex on the brain. I know the story was about them meeting their mate, but geez... I would have liked to get to know them a little better, beyond the fact they seemed to want to have sex all the time even if it was all part of the bonding they were going through. That's mostly all they talked about too. Seriously they had a BAD case of sex on the brain.

I enjoyed this book loads more than the first. I'm going to continue to follow this author. She had talent and imagination, she's just now realizing. It's going to be a joy reading her books as her skills improve.
