The book was well written, but I did not like the fact that writer did not spend much time building the romantic relationship. The interaction went from distant step siblings to full blown sex in one encounter.

I also didn't like the fact that the hero came across as emotionally distant. He seemed to be more in lust than love. He was able to hold back his feelings, even as continued to shag his painfully infatuated step-sister.

I liked the rest of the book. Especially the heroine. Good character. I felt kind of sorry for her as she was regularly jerked around by the hero. Good family dynamics.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, despite the sometimes jerky behavior of the hero.
