Love this book and the trip down Route 66! Read this as part of a discussion series about Route 66. Mr. Cobb clarifies and paints wonderful imagines of the places along 66 that we discussed/read about in the non-fiction travel guides. The characters were personable and you have to hang on for the ride to discover the ending.

Mr. Cobb graciously participated in a teleconference during our group discussion. He willingly answered all our questions, provided some wonderful "research" info. about writing West on 66. Now I'll be looking for more James H. Cobb books!
