I was really charmed by this book. It's a classic British country house murder mystery. The leading leady, Lady Frances, is an amateur sleuth and suffragist. She and all the other characters were so delightful, I fell in love with them. The writing and the story really flow and the detecting is clever. There is just a hint of romance, with Lady Frances' lovely beau, Henry, and multiple couples get HEAs at the end of the book. If you are looking for a fun cozy mystery with zero angst, look no further. The only thing bothering me after reading this book is because of the Edwardian era setting, I know World War I is just around the corner, and I am worried Henry will get called up. I finished the book a couple days ago but I am still worried about him!
