One of the best books I have ever read! This was recommended to me by a lovely person who has an adopted daughter from China. Her comment to me about the book was that she couldn't believe that she had a daughter that came from this culture.
This is an amazing tale of 2 women and their journey through life. It is very informative of Chinese culture, but even more importantly it is a story about love, friendship, tradition, and the philosophy of life.
There is a special place in my heart for all the characters I have met in the novels I have read throughout my life. Snow Flower and Lily will live in my heart forever. I love them both as if they were physically real. Thank you, Lisa See for this wonderful novel.
