Thriller by Robert Masello. In 1854 Eleanor Ames is a nurse with Florence Nightengale, who follows The British Army to the Middle East to tend to wounded soldiers. She is reunited with her Love, Lieutenant Sinclair Copley. They are forced to embark on a long journey. Then, present day, photojournalist Michael Wilde takes an assignment at the South Pole. The odds that the paths that three would cross are infinitesimal.... This is a well written, creative tale. Scary. Worth a credit. If you enjoy this book, recommend books by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. Worth a credit.
