Fond memories, no regrets.

Sloan Sheridan, brilliant trial lawyer, needed Sarah--as his secretary. She matched his professional standards and proved useful in his private affairs, intuitively knowing just when to send his latest beauty her farewell roses, signed, "Fond memories..."

Sarah went out of her way to appear uninteresting and unattractive to Sloan. A brief, shameful marriage had taught her the danger of being desired by an intensely attractive men bent on conquest.

It wasn't only Sloan's desire that frightened Sarah...it was her own.
