This is a first-hand look into the life of a vegan. It makes a reassuring read for the current vegan, and a kick in the pants for ovo-lacto vegetarians who aren't quite ready to take the plunge into veganism. It provides information on how to deal with meat-eaters in your family, your workplace, and your circle of friends. The authors touch on subjects like vegan foods, animal rights, and fur.

Overall, Vegan Freak is a good starting place. The book lists numerous additional reading books and websites.
