PLOT: Another in the line of mysteries featuring Warner's claivoyant sleuth Mrs. Charles. Two young women are murdered in the peaceful town of Gidding, leaving a tarot card on each corpse.

Review: The Tarot Murders is an easy to read, but not outstanding book.
The tarot deck features in the plot (the murderer sends a card to his victim, then leaves another card on the body), and helps Mrs. Charles figure out who is behind the crimes. But I found that aspect all too confusing and pointless. I did like the heroine, but her ability to see beyond the normal senses plays no part in the tale -- it's mostly her intuitiveness that helps her uncover the murderer.
