A fascinating tale set in Guyana (two sisters who are completely different yet incredibly bonded) and India (a young prince chafing at his confinement to palace grounds). Starts in their childhoods, moves on into their adulthoods...their lives do eventually cross in an unexpected way.

A great read, beautifully written.
