One of the best books of futuristic fiction that I have ever read and a book that I would highy recommend to all who would like a glimpse of another's vision of a possible future.

I will admit that I had to work at reading the first 40 or 50 pages....and I did go back and read the beginning several times before moving further into the book. The author is bringing a number of different characters and different complex threads together and this requires the reader to be very attentive. (Oh, the plusses and minusses of speed reading!)

That said, the vision that the author provides us is uniquely thought provoking. As readers, we can see some of his future because it is our past and present.
