I liked this book, but not as much as some others in the series. Some of the story line seemed a little too far fetched, and there was no backround on the recurring characters to give a new reader any frame of reference. The ending was also different--left it wide open for the series to move to a new locale, which would disappoint me as the location has been an integral part of the stories.
