Love the title of this collection. The author says, "We each have our little triggers...things that wait for us in the dark corridors of our lives." Twenty-five stories and poems are included in this book, some of which I truly enjoyed while I could let others go. I will not comment on all of them, only those I found fun and interesting.

"A Lunar Labyrinth" is entertaining, a bit scary and dedicated to Gene Wolfe. And the whimsical "A Thing about Cassandra" left this reader smiling. "The Truth Is a Cave in the Black Mountains..." stretched my imagination even more. It's a good one. "The Case of Death and Honey" is so creative I thought, "What's not to like?" Once again back into the things that frighten read "Click-Clack the Rattlebag." I did not like the ending of "Diamonds and Pearls: A Fairy Tale" but it's well done. And, if you like feminine characters you'll love "The Sleeper and the Spindle," a different take on the tale of Snow White. "Black Dog" returns the reader to ghosts and demons. It's an enjoyable tale about an American visiting England. All in all this is a good collection that demonstrates the talents and breadth of the author writing to readers. Well worth reading!
