This was an excellent story, probably better than the first in the series (Unlaced). Jane and Hayden's story is not rushed and is very sweet, although Cook always seem to have convenient ways to break betrothals so that the hero and heroine are unaffected. I look forward to Colin's story in the next book.

However, one thing in the book is very distracting; plagarism. Most romance readers love the ultimate author, Jane Austen, and therefore have seen the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice many times. I own a copy. I was completely shocked to see quite a number of sentences straight out of the novel and/or the screenplay (depending on sentence). The author "borrows" famous lines word for word. As a teacher, I spend hours instructing my students about plagarism and it is a shame to see it here. Quite frankly, it was so blatant that it distracted from the story; which otherwise is lovely.
