"Romance is in the very air of Rio de Janeiro," according to the guide books. But when exotic-bird trainer Katy Graham travels there to deliver a young cockatoo to her new owner, Camille De Santos, she stumbles into more romance, mystery, and adventure than she ever bargained for.
Since Katy has also agreed to perform with Coco the Magnificent Cockatoo at Camille's birthday party, Camille acts as enthusiastic tour guide, showing her guest the splendors of Brazil-including her father's coffee plantation. Amidst the lush jungle and shimmering coffee trees, Katy unwittingly uncovers a darker side of the plantation business and of the attractive Ramon De La Rosa, a man she thought she could love.
Suddenly Katy is faced witih a decision that puts her life in danger. Will she play it safe and run from the mystery? Or will her determination to solve the puzzle lead her safely through the uncharted waters of love?
