This was a bit of a slow start and a pretty predictable ending, but I did really enjoy the story. Cara comes home to find that her mother is sick and she spends the summer at the beach with her. They both learn about each other and it helps to heal their realtionship.
I loved reading about the turtles, that was an excellant side story in the book.
Great summer read.
