Interesting story, as some previously important characters are killed off. It's funny that most of this Drinkwater tale takes place on land. And while the British Foreign office greatly appreciates what was accomplished, the Admiralty wasn't, causing Drinkwater some bitterness.

Once again, it's the case of the bureaucracy saying," You did a great job. Here's how we're going to punish you."
