This book describes the inspiration behind almost every Doors song from 1966 to 1978, including An American Prayer and the two albums made without Jim Morrison. Those songs written by other group members are also included. There are no songs described which were written by others, such as the blues numbers they were so fond of. NOTE: This book was also published under the title, Moonlight Drive, The Stories Behind Every Doors Song. They are the same.
