I wasn't all that impressed with this at all. From what I learned on goodreads.com the author was just a teenager when this was written. That alone deserves a certain amount of respect I think- I couldn't sit down and write a book at this moment.
That being said, it was boring. The book basically follows James' and his friends on an acid trip. How does one make an acid trip boring you ask? Easy if every single boring detail is told while the exciting details are left out.
I think this might be a good book for a young reluctant reader but I was looking for a kind of drug abuse memoir sort of thing and this just wasn't it for me.
