If beings from another planet visited Earth, how would they interpret everyday American things like football, the Tooth Fairy, or birthday celebrations?

Nathan W Pyle imagined these and many more situations in Strange Planet and its sequel Stranger Planet. Using a limited color palate, non-gender characters, and relatively few words, Pyle conveys his humor and unique worldview in only four panels per page.

Our world has critical issues to address, foremost justice for all, and books like these may not seem relevant at this time. But perhaps seeing everyday items and customs in a new way will open someone's mind to see more important things with fresh eyes.
