Top TV anchorwoman Melanie Adams had given up love after a failed marriage and and unhappy love affair. She has 2 teenage children and her career and she doesnt need anything else until she meets the famous heart surgeon Peter hallam who is a widower with 3 children. Melanies begans experiencing feeling that were gone forever. However with one family in New York and the other in Los Angelos, two important careers and two strong willed people were very confusing and Melanie faces a painful choice between here glamorous public life, her private live and the needs of her family. Very interesting reading.
