The information provided about Elizabeth I in this 1967 book is interesting and well written, divided into short (normally one-page) topics that cover her life and the social and political events of England and Europe at the times. But the really great thing about the book are the illustrations -- tons of them showing her and other important persons of the era, plus numerous woodcuts and illustrations of life at court, etc. It's an excellent way to get an overview of Elizabeth.
