This author leads her reader through the underworld of the American political machine - a scence that has become all too obvious as our "reality" continues to unfold and reveal many disturbing and unacceptable facts. How does it happen?
There are chapters about corrupt political officials, lobbying and special interest groups, coorporate welfare and greed, the high jacking of a clean energy policy, and more. It quickly becomes apparent that we are not living in a true democracy in which people are represented by their leaders.
This book would be of particular interest to a "left-wing watchdog" minded person or student of political science. Lots of references to websites of activist groups.
