Really enjoyed reading McNicholl's first effort. Growing up as a Catholic in a rural mountain area of Ireland, fighting with the Protestants, touching on the problems of government, family expectations, teen problems, and the high honor of having a priest in the family, he brings it home to the reader. Well done!
