Hannah Marsh and her family move to a small rural town in NC after her husband accepts a teaching job there. Then at a dinner party, she runs into estranged best friend from childhood. The two women become friends again. Only, Hannah realizes that she is drawn to her best friends husband, Peter. When Peter makes it clear that the feelings are mutual, a chain of events is set into motion that could affect them all.
