What can I say, I'm a sucker for historical fiction. Kent did a fabulous job recounting the horrors of the Salem Witch Trials and how they affected everyday family life. Character development was amazing and the plot moved at a steady pace. The narrator did a great job expressing the characters emotions and wasn't annoying.

I also think this a great mother-daughter book. While the story-line is depressing, Kent showed how time, personal reflection, and life helps mothers and daughters form a more understanding relationship of each other.
