A quite clever book but no wishes so I will put it back on the library sale shelf. They kept it for nearly ten years (many books are discarded after two or three years) which is an indication of a special book.
For example: July 13.
I asked my mom why I can't have my own room like Worm.
"Becaus3e you have 327 brothers and sisters, that's why."
The illustration is from high up in the kitchen, several flies in motion, and at the bottom of the page a boy eating his breakfast.
July 23. I visited my Aunt Rita today. She's been trapped on the wrong side of a screen for a week.
There is a series of informative books: Diary of a Worm and Diary of a Spider.
10 July 2018: There is another copy available for two bits on the branch library sale shelf today but again no wishes so I will leave it for someone else. How sad! This is quality literature!
