I was given this book as a new mom in 2000. I gave it away, then regretted it - the voices of the authors echoed in my head as my children grew, and I grew as a parent. This book of essays is rich with wisdom, humor, pain and joy that I have found inspiring and comforting, especially in those moments when I feel most alone as a parent. Recently got it back through the Swap - I am enjoying reading it for the second time, and will not let it go again!
