Elusive bachelor Doug reluctantly attends his cousin Lilibeth's weeklong celebration leading up to her nuptials. He manages to make friends with feisty Rosie, and the two decide to be each other's paramour to keep hopeless matchmaker Aunt Bette from trying to make a love connection for each of them.
