Smart and funny with well-rounded characters in believable situations. I liked the references to architects I. M. Pei, Cesar Pelli, and Eliel & Eero Saarinen and their buildings. The vocab words are in bold, with the definition in the same page's footnotes. The non-SAT vocab (mulleted, skank, snarky, spork, etc.) is not defined. I learned three new words:
adumbration = symbol
osculate = kiss
otiose = useless
