Great read - third book in the THE GODS OF THE NIGHT series.

This one literally starts up where book 2 left us... the action has moved to Portland OR, but Utah is still efficiently thinning the vampire population to avenge is brother's death, and the Eleven are still looking to eliminate the latest entry [Seven] in the doomsday countdown.

Fin assigns Lia [from the previous book, she's the currently-human-but-soon-to-become-vampire leader of the Northeast Vampires] as Utah's partner. She thinks he's a prehistoric jerk, he thinks anyone who likes vampires needs their head examined-or removed. Just to make matters MORE difficult, Kione the dark fae prince with the sexual compulsion vibes [from the last book also] is added to their partnership. Of course, that DOES give our hero someone to blame all the lustful thoughts he's having about Lia on.

Adventures, many characters from the previous books, and some peeks into Fin's past and his motivations. Who could ask for more?
