This book gives a nice overview of the creation of the Judeo-
Christian Hell. Pulling from Greek, Jewish, and Muslim roots, Jon Sweeney weaves the historical and contextual information into a easily read tale about the invention of Hell as we know it today.
For those who are familiar with mythology, there will be some repeat information; however, overall the book was informative and enjoyable.
