This story might be better suited for an older juvenile reader because of how it deals with faith, betrayal and friendship. I don't know how much today's youth struggle with developing their own personal religious beliefs, but it is a good story and well told. This author does tackle difficult subject matter. I highly recommend Rylant's Missing May.
