The Psalmist has said, in one of the best-known and best-loved Psalms, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills." The sacred poet sees in the mountains to which he lifted up his eyes, monuments of what the Lord has done for his people in other days, and of what He would again do and be to His people in days to come. And the brilliant light that streams from the scenes that were enacted on each of those Bible Hills, shines both as a beacon and a guiding light to the pilgrim on life's journey.
