Compelling story but the audio book hadn't been fully edited! It was kind of interesting to hear the reader try out different accents in one spot (he was afraid his Cornish burr was sounding Scottish), but it also interrupted the flow of the story. This was my first Inspector Wexford book and I realize I probably shouldn't have started at the end of the series. I think if you have been reading all along, you will be delighted with his reminisces. I didn't see the twist coming and the seemingly separate story lines do eventually intersect.
