Dex, the biggest playboy in London, abruptly finds himself in charge of his baby niece. He decides to move to a small town to give a go at raising her. There is a cartoon drawing neighbor Molly with the heart of gold. The perfect couple who is not the perfect couple after all. Long lost loves. Brass waitress who really just protecting herself by scaring men off. The list goes on. You do have to keep track of a lot of people but it can be entertaining.

If you've read one Jill Mansell book, you've read them all. It's basically the same characters with different names. The characters who are meant for each other go through several other people before they end up together and the book ends somewhat abruptly. But they are fun and the characters do zany things. Predictable and redundant couples in small towns.
