Four short stories set in the early years of Jamestown and Williamsburg. The stories are very short and I felt did not fully develop the characters. I never felt that I really knew any one character. That said and done, it was an enjoyable read-a good curl up in a blanket next to a fireplace and "waste" an evening type of book.
