This is an excellent book for ideas for wedding cake design. It is probably too intense for an inexperienced cake decorator, but there is excellent detail in baking, construction, and design for those with experience.
There is also a section on cake tops, separators, columns, bridges, fountains, etc, which I found very interesting.
