Book Review of A Wind in the Door

A Wind in the Door
reviewed on

When Charles Wallace, Meg's youngest brother, tells her that he found dragons, she thinks he may just be fibbing to make himself feel better after all that has been happening in school. She goes on her own to discover whether or not these dragons exist, but she's even more surprised what she finds instead of dragons.

It doesn't end there though. She discovers that Charles Wallace is deathly ill, and it's up to her to find a way to fix him. With the help of Calvin, two new friends, and an old enemy turned ally, she sets out to heal Charles Wallace from the inside out.

In this second book, Meg continues to learn just how much courage she has and that she isn't just a little girl.

-This book was a difficult to get through near the middle for me, but it picked up near the end.-
