I love the blog from which most of this book comes -- it had made me laugh out loud many, many times -- but the book falls flat with me. Maybe it's because the most edgy anger and profanity has been sanitized for a wider audience; maybe it's that the photos don't strike me as as adorable as those on the blog; or, maybe it's just that the blog medium is perfect for this kind of humor. Either way, though, I have to say I regret shelling out actual money for this book.

There are certainly cute pictures of animals, and it's definitely a chuckle-worthy read, worth a book credit but definitely not the cover price.
