I had crocheted several multi-color afghans: thick, warm and heavy... and began to get bored! Then I found this book and away I went! I made a lacy black stole, using the Openwork pattern stitch#39... many white-and-gold Snowflake Christmas ornaments from pg 117... then I discovered page 125 and how to crochet a kitchen floormat out of plastic bags!
This book is great on the basics with full illustrations and photographs... and then goes on to give the more experienced worker many great patterns, designs and pictures to incite them on!
