From the back cover: "Married a year, Carole and Daniel are waiting for the honeymoon to start.

After the death of her minister husband, Carole vowed never again to subject herself to life in a fishbowl. So what is she doing now, married to handsome Daniel Thornton, pastor of St. John's?
Juggling her new roles as wife, career woman, stepmother to a teenager, and mother of a newborn is difficult, but Carole soon finds her life almost impossible under the eyes of a watchful congregation. When vicious rumors threaten their tender union, Carole's faith in her husband and even in God may be put asunder."

I love this book for its unique love story, quirky and sometimes comical characters, and its avoidance of most cliches. It's original and sweet, and well-written.
