  I woke up today late
Missed an important date

Feelings of abandonment and rage
Why weren't you there for me my Sage

Baby feelings of loss
Emotions tender tossed

There's a channel into my soul
pumping from my pysche's bowl

Reverse the tide; reverse the flow
The truth back down the chute must go

Not abandoned, but loved so tender
Calm, my spirit rests on a string so slender

Going down to sleep today
Inviting the truth to stay

that is truly a lovely and poignant idea: that we must invite the truth to stay, give it nourishment, carve a space for it in our lives, deepen its practice.
