We are suppose to be PROUD AMERICAN’S
I find that hard when we keep stepping on our own toes

In the 1930’s, we needed the Unions to get us going
But now they are bringing us down because they are too strong

I go out and try to find items that are made in our country
But all I can see on the tags is made in another country

I know that the CEO’s are being over paid and we’re covering their lunch
Then, they bring the materials back into the United States and still cost to much

The Government needs to tax our of America Companies
They want to move the goods out to be made cheaper in other places

So that the companies will come back home
And support our own people here in our own dome

Any companies that hire illegal immigrates should be fined heavily or shut them down
They take and work our jobs, so they need to be forced out of town

But if the Union would back off things, could be done for less
Then things could be marked right, “Made in the USA”

I think my heart was really, truly broken when I read "Made In Viet Nam" on the tag of a shirt I got as a gift.
