  The single sound interupts
the silence of the night.

The universal om
changing darkness to light.

The gostly movement of the chime
breaks a silent reverie.

The sweet and quiet music
stirring plesant memory.

The feel of gentle breezes
drawing lightly across skin,

Reminds me of summer days,
The salt, the sea,
Jazz and sin.

The stolen kiss , the tender touch,
your body next to mine.

The nights of love,
the sweet caress,
the lips that taste like wine.

The winds,the chimes, the kisses.
the sunlight and the sand.

The perfect summer, alive again,
the holding of your hand.

So now, this night as dreams approch,
My memories in tow.

That singing chime reminds me
How I loved you so.

That gostly movement of the air,
The ringing of that chime,
Oh peaceful rest,
OH sweet, sweet, sleep,
In dreams again your mine.

I found lots to like in this poem...but, being a former English instructor, I have to say it would be helped by better spelling and punctuation (she says, ducking and running). ;)
