  Dear God,
Are you there? I can feel
You one moment but then
I can’t. Maybe it’s my lack
of faith. You are supposed
to tell me what I can and can’t
change, but where is my answer?
Worshiping You is too hard
but the little hope I have
dangling on the string
still thinks You will turn
my darkness into light
You wrote in Psalm 18.
You are supposed to be
my rock and salvation
like in Psalm 62 yet
You are invisible;
I reach to the skies for You
like in Psalm 57 but I can’t
always reach that high.
I just believe
like Noah, Moses, Jacob,
Abraham, Joseph, David
and everyone else.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed
in spirited”
Love, Your daughter.
