This book is packed with common sense suggestions as well as in depth assistance for people who want to make the best of their trips, in groups or alone. I personally learned a great deal, and as a result,my trips have been better managed and more enjoyable having that foreknowledge. It has a list of international monetary units, room for notes, even a few of the authors' lists of favorite places they have travelled, as well as a bucket list of where they'd like to go. This group gives back with philanthropic efforts concerning women and travel, and have done so since 1958. There are lists of books one can use for reference, a packing list of essentials, and what to eat where. A list for conversions, 25 reasons why you need to carry a bandana with you, shopping, ettiquette, etc. This is packed full of things to know and do - I have been a lifetime traveler, and learned very much from this book of facts and figures. I liked the photos of the women over time who helped other women get through travel with fun and flair. Transsportaion, health, what to do ifs' list - it is just so helpful and fun to read.
