This thread is for the category (10-book) challenge. Challenge Description: Historical fiction by category. Meet the challenge by reading 10 books – one for each category below. This challenge contains 1 bonus category and one alternate category. Books read for challenge #1 qualify for challenge #2.

I only have a few definites right off the bat, but I wanted to go ahead and save my spot! I'm sure I'll edit this a zillion times between now and the end of 2010, as I change my mind about books. One of my personal goals is to read books off my bookshelf and start to reduce it, but looking at all the others books I will end up ordering more I am sure. Some books I will decide when I get to that challenge as I have several that fit in that category.
