I'm almost through the 1st and will probably read the other 2 this weekend.  They are the Kresly Cole McCarrick brothers books-If you Desire etc..., My question is should I just post them and let them go to the first people on the list?  Or should I post them here when I'm done and see what deals I get offered for the set?  Just wondering.

I'd post them as you finish them and let the wishers get them.  It seems mean to jump the list to get a better deal.

You can only get 1 credit for each of the books, you can't ask for more, so there's really no incentive to wait to post them together.

I agree.  Those on the wish list have been waiting the longest!

Ok. It would just be easier if I could mail them all off to one person.

Mary,

It may be easier, but as others pointed out, its not fair. Alot of folks who have been wishing for books may have been wishing for years. I just had a book come up that was on my list from 2005! Had I missed out on that book, because someone wanted to send a bunch of books together, I would have been torked. *lol*

Hmmmm, well, if you really wanted to do that, when you were done with the books, you could ask if anyone in the book bazzar has all three books on their WL.  Then what you would need to do is to post all 3 books to that person's WL.  It should tell you in the help section how to do that.   That could be more of a pain then it is worth though, trying to find someone who has all three on their wishlist.  Plus, like others have said, while it's certainly okay to post to specific people's WLs, it's more fair to use the FIFO (first in, first out) system.

Welcome to PBS, BTW!

I don't see anything wrong with posting here asking if anyone has all on their wishlist to save some money...

I agree about seeing nothing wrong with trying to get rid of all 3 at one time...rather than sending out to 3 different people.  No matter what you do, you can't please everyone...so you got to please yourself...as the song says. :)

Doing 3 for 2 credits on all my books.

What I've done in the past (and it has worked for me) is to post the first book to the FIFO system, then check the Wishlist of the person it goes to to see if the others are on their Wishlist.   Often, people who have the first book on their WL will have the others & then I just post the others directly to their WL.  I'm sure some people will have a problem with that, but  there were times that it was really the only way I could afford to mail out 3 or 4 books in a series at one time.

I see nothing wrong with seeing if you can send them all to one house by posting a deal on here.

I mean, after all, since you are allowed to post wishlisted books to a certain person (and MANY do post to their friends or long-time aquaintances on here) and by pass the FIFO in that manner ... well, I don't see any difference.
