I read it to my 4th grade class (it took 4 days, it was long and they are squirrelly), they got in to it after a while, but it's slower moving than what modern children are used to, I think.

This is my favorite book by Dr. Suess, because it is written in prose, a different rhyming scheme than most of his other books. What a great book for children and adults!
